So my laptop was broken and i didn’t know what to do. So my Dad’s friend (incidentally the one who i bought the laptop from) told me that apple does free diagnostics in their stores. So i went online and booked one. THEY FUCKING FIXED IT FOR FREE!

First they did a disk repair, because it was something with the hard drive that was fucking up. That found some corrupt files that would have interfered with the software update that i did. After those were fixed the computer still wasn’t working, so they re-installed the operating system. The whole process took about 45 minutes AND IT WAS FREE!

Now my laptop is working and it’s faster than it was before (especially with the RAM i just installed). Also the apple girl that did the diagnostic gave me all this adivce on upgrading my OS and external hard drives and which mac would be the best if i wanted a new one.

I think it convinced my mom that apple is way better than PC. Also i found out that Logic Studio is $200 for a basic copy, which is much less than the $1000 that it was on the website. Now all i have to do is get an external hard drive (for music and backing up my files, in case i want to upgrade my OS), getting a new OS disk off eBay or something, get a new ipod since mine is broken and all scratched up, and find a way to hook up all this shit to my synth and make music. This should keep me busy for a while.
